Biografía
Mansour Mohammadian es doctor (Ph.D.) en Biología y Genética de The Ohio State University. Es catedrático emérito de Biología de la Universidad de Teherán; director de ciencias en la Universidad a Distancia de Irán y fue profesor invitado en la Universidad Bu-Ali Sina para el desarrollo curricular interdisciplinario. Ha desempeñado el puesto de consejero científico en la Televisión Estatal de Irán y ha sido Subsecretario de Estado ( I + D ) en el Ministerio de Ciencias de Irán.
Es el autor del libro Bioeconomics: Biological Economics. Interdisciplinary Study of Biology, Economics and Education . El autor es miembro honorario de varias sociedades científicas como. The Research Society of America (Sigma XI), The American Society of Agriculture (Gamma Sigma Delta) y The Ohio Academy of Science.
Ha sido beneficiario de becas de investigación del Ministerio de Ciencias de España. También, es miembro del consejo editorial de The Journal of Interdisciplinary Economics y es presidente honorario de la Asociación Internacional de la Bioeconomía y presidente de la Fundación de la Economía del Tercer Camino.
Ha publicado muchos artículos sobre Biología, Medioambiente, Biología de la Salud y Genética y ha enseñado cursos sobre estas ciencias en Teherán y en la Universidad de Saint Louis.
Desde el año 1996 es profesor de Bioeconomía en el Instituto Universitario de Ciencias Ambientales de la Universidad Complutense, donde imparte el curso de doctorado. Por la buena acogida de su anterior libro ha sido invitado por varias universidades para impartir conferencias en España y en otros países. También, ha sido entrevistado en el programa de Redes de la Televisión Española y por la Radio Estatal de Venezuela.
Biography
Mansour Mohammadian has a Ph.D. in Biology and Genetics from the Ohio State University. He is emeritus professor of Biology at the university of Teheran and director of sciences at the Free University of Iran and was an invited professor at Bu-Ali Sina University in charge of developing interdisciplinary curricula. He has also held the position of scientific adviser at the State Television of Iran and has been the Sub-secretary of State (I & D) at the Ministry of Science of Iran.
He is the author of the book Bioeconomics: Biological Economics. Interdisciplinary Study of Biology, Economics and Education . The author is an honorary member of various scientific societies such as The Research Society of America ( Sigma XI ), The American Society of Agriculture ( Gamma Sigma Delta ) and The Ohio Academy of Science.
He has been the beneficiary of Fellowships from the Ministry of Science of Spain. He is also a member of the advisory board of The Journal of Interdisciplinary Economics and is the honorary president of the Asociación Internacional de la Bioeconomía and president of the Fundación de la Economía del Tercer Camino.
He is the author of many scientific articles on Biology; Environment, Genetics, Biology of Health & Disease and has taught these topics in Teheran and Saint Louis University.
Since 1996 he is professor of Bioeconomics at the Instituto Universitario de Ciencias Ambientales of the University of Complutense where he teaches the doctoral course on Bioeconomics. Due to the fact that his first book has attracted public attention he has been invited to offer conferences en various universidades in Spain and abroad. He has also been interviewed in the Programa de Redes of the Spanish Television and by the State radio of Venezuela.
